The 5 days Uganda wildlife safari features a visit to a wildlife viewing Lake Mburo National Park Uganda’s smallest Savannah Park accessible by road within 3 to 4 hours’ drive from Kampala Capital City for wildlife sights like Zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, oribi, water backs and a variety of bird species with options for boat rides, nature walks among and safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park the second largest national park in Uganda.
Detailed travel Package
Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe Airport/Kampala and transfer to Lake Mburo and do a boat cruise.
Our tour guide/driver shall pick you up from your hotel/ Entebbe international Airport and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park through the scenic western side of Uganda. Upon arrival, finish with the necessary entrance clearances, check-in at the lodge, have lunch and relax. Later in the afternoon, we will take a boat ride on Lake Mburo which will guarantee incredible sights of Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and various bird species like the African fish eagles, shoebill storks on the eastern banks of Lake Mburo. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge in Lake Mburo.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Nature walks in lake Mburo.
Early morning after breakfast, get into 4by4 vehicle and head out for a morning game drive to explore the park’s savannah and acacia woodland in search for wildlife like impalas, Zebras, oribi, waterbuck’s eland, buffaloes and various bird species that can be spotted during the game drive. After get to the lodge for lunch and relaxation then hit the park again on walking safari with an armed ranger guide, this gives you a chance to track wildlife on foot. Then we will do the horseback safari, dinner and night stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Transfer from Lake Mburo to Queen Elizabeth National Park and do an afternoon game drive.
Get up in the morning, have breakfast, checkout at the lodge and embark on a 2-to-3-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Mbarara – Kasese road with incredible views of beautiful sceneries, Rwenzori Mountain ranges, crater lakes, tea plantation amongst. Check in at the Lodge, have lunch and later proceed for an afternoon game drive in Kasenyi plains or Ishasha sector in search for more wildlife like the tree climbing lions usually in the Ishasha, leopards, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, jackals, spotted hyenas among more with views of different bird species.
Dinner and Night stay at: Kazinga Wilderness Camp
Day 4: Morning Game drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga Channel
Considering an early game drive after breakfast at the lodge for more wildlife views especially wild animals doing morning hunts shall be spotted before they take hides. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation, then later embark on an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Kazinga channel is a natural waterway connecting lake Edward and Lake George within Queen Elizabeth National Park and a boat cruise on this channel typically lasts for 2 hours which is ample time to spot wildlife such as the Elephants, Hippos, Cape Buffaloes, waterbucks, crocodiles and a variety of bird species like the herons, cormorants and you can as well experience some of the fishing villages located within the park whilst on the boat.
Dinner and overnight at: Kazinga Wilderness Camp
Day 5: Transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe international Airport for flight back home.
On the last day, you will exit Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast and proceed on a drive to Kampala/Entebbe Airport.
