The 5 days Gorilla and Wildlife Uganda Safari features a visit to Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a prime destination for gorilla trekking and habituation in Uganda thus a renowned haven for the endangered primates holding over half of the world’s primate’s population within its boundaries and a safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park the second largest national Park in Uganda with wildlife sights during game drives and a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport/Kampala and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Our tour guide/driver will brief you about the tour and pick you up from your hotel/Entebbe Airport and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park, prime destination for Gorilla trekking through the breath-taking scenery western region of Uganda taking about 7 to 8 hours’ drive from Kampala with a first stop-over at the Equator along Kampala-Masaka highway for beautiful pictures and after embark on the journey to Bwindi through Masaka-Mbarara with a second in Mbarara for Lunch and relaxation then proceed. Upon arrival in Kisoro District where the park is situated, finish with the necessary park entrance clearances, check-in at the Lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.
Day 2: Early morning Gorilla Trekking and afternoon Nature walk in Bwindi.
Early morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will be picked up by our tour guide in 4by4 vehicle and head out to the park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts upon gorilla trekking that usually starts around 7am Uganda’s time within any of Bwindi’s four sectors that’s Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, and Nkuringo. After briefing at the park headquarters, you will be assigned a park ranger leading you to a gorilla family in the jungle. Gorilla trekking usually takes about 50 minutes to half day depending on the viability of your assigned gorilla family of which upon sighting the gorilla family, you will be allowed not more than one hour of close encounter with the mountain gorillas for up close interaction and photo taking. After you will return back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, head out for nature walks within the communities through the exciting hiking trails in Buhoma sector.
Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha Sector
Get up in the morning, have breakfast at the lodge, check out and embark on a journey which is approximately 180km in about 3 to 4 hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Bwindi via Ishasha region where you may be lucky to spot tree climbing lions. Upon arrival at the park, we will proceed with the necessary park clearances, check in at lodge. Dinner and overnight stays at the lodge.
Day 4: Early morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Considering an early morning game drive after breakfast at the lodge for beautiful sights of wildlife especially wild animals that usually do morning hunts before they hide such as spotted Hyenas, lions, leopards as well as African Elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs among more. The Game drive usually lasts between 2 to 4 hours then you can head back for lunch and brief relaxation at the lodge. Later in the afternoon, you will head out for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, which is an interconnection waterway between Lake Edward and Lake George offering a scenic beauty and an ultimate wildlife exploration. The Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel usually lasts for 2 hours of water ride on the channel with sights of rich wildlife such as numerous Elephants that are normally seen grazing, drinking and swimming near the channel shores, large numbers of Hippos that reside in the water, baby crocodiles, buffaloes among more. After a boat cruise, return to the Lodge. Dinner and overnight stays at the Lodge.
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport for flights back home.
On the last day, you will exit Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast at the lodge and embark on a journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport with lunch-stop on the way.
